Calibration Engineer (ISO/IEC 17025) - #1089622

Key Responsibilities: 

Calibration of Equipment:

• Perform regular calibration of testing and measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Verify and adjust instruments to meet technical specifications and industry guidelines.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed calibration records, including test results, adjustments, and performance trends.
• Generate calibration certificates and reports as required.

Compliance and Standards:

• Ensure all equipment adheres to international, national, and organizational calibration standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025).
• Support audits by providing calibration documentation and demonstrating compliance.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Monitor equipment performance to identify calibration or maintenance needs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

Procedure Development:

• Develop, review, and refine calibration procedures for various equipment types.
• Standardize processes to improve efficiency and reliability.

Collaboration with Teams:

• Work closely with Quality and Operational teams to address calibration needs.
• Provide technical support to resolve instrument-related issues.

Training and Knowledge Sharing:

• Train team members on proper calibration techniques and the importance of equipment accuracy.
• Stay updated on new calibration methods, tools, and industry advancements.

Risk Management:

• Identify risks associated with uncalibrated or faulty equipment and implement mitigation strategies.
• Perform root cause analysis for calibration failures or discrepancies.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain an inventory of calibrated tools, instruments, and reference standards.
• Schedule periodic calibration and ensure timely replacement of outdated or damaged equipment.

Data Analysis and Trend Monitoring:

• Analyze calibration data to identify trends, deviations, and improvement opportunities.
• Recommend corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and accuracy.

• Assist in external and internal audits by providing calibration records and ensuring regulatory compliance.

• Propose and implement enhancements to calibration methods, technologies, and practices for greater efficiency and accuracy.
