About the role
Eigen Energy is a systems integrator for solar energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, with technical competencies in engineering and construction, energy management, software engineering and cross platform integration. 

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead a team effectively while managing stakeholders and direct the execution of the projects to ensure goals are achieved.  

You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our construction services, with a focus on driving productivity, quality, and safety.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement operational strategies to meet project goals, deadlines and project closeout
• Manage and oversee the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
• Monitor and report on project progress, onsite document control identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, quality control/quality assurance 
• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to optimise project workflows, whilst operating in compliance with ethical practices 
• Provide leadership and guidance to the construction team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity
• Review and update of the Contractor’s schedules showing the status of all projects as well as cost status for all contracts. 

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in the construction industry
• Minimum 6 years of working experience in the related industry 
• Strong understanding of construction operations, including project planning, resource management, and quality control
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and a strong sense of ownership
• Proficient in using construction management software and tools, good at paperwork and proficient in MS Word/ Excel/ Project 
• Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
