Electrical Equipment Condition Monitoring and On-site Testing Engineer - #1089568

Job Summary:

The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for on-site testing of power equipment, providing technical support t sales distributors  and customers, and participating in product development and marketing. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in power equipment condition monitoring and testing, excellent communication skills, and be able to adapt to frequent travel.

Key Responsibilities:

On-site Testing and Reporting:

• Perform on-site testing tasks for electrical equipment, including partial discharge and infrared testing.
• Analyze test data and prepare detailed test reports.
• Capable of working in non-office environments, requiring long periods of standing, and able to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs (approximately 23 kg).

Technical Support and Training:

• Address customer inquiries about the company's products and resolve issues encountered during their use.
• Provide training on condition monitoring knowledge and skills to agents and customers.
• Collaborate with distributors to assist customers in solving issues related to power equipment condition monitoring.

Product Development and Documentation:

• Test new company products and participate in writing product manuals.
• Record audio and video materials for the use and promotion of company products, assisting in product marketing.

Collaboration and Reporting:

• Report directly to the CEO and collaborate with other departments to complete tasks.
• Document all support activities and prepare technical reports as required.

Travel Requirements:

• Frequent domestic and international travel is required, averaging 50% or more.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Practical experience in condition monitoring, electrical power systems, or related technical field more than 5 years.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Able to adapt to long working hours and different work environments.
• Willingness to travel frequently to provide on-site support, installation, and training.
