Clinical Optometrist - #1089473

Salary Package will commensurate with candidates' experience.

Job Scope

• Clinical evaluation of patients
• Patient counseling on medical and surgical treatments
• Surgical planning and preparation of refractive, cataract and other ophthalmic surgical cases
• Manifest and cyclo-refraction of adults and children
• Perform machine based diagnostics e.g HVF, OCT, Corneal Tomography, Biometry, Ultrasonography, Fundal and Anterior Segment Photography etc
• Tech assist in laser refractive surgery (LASIK, RelexSMILE & PRK)

Candidates will be trained in concepts and applications of:

• Refractive Surgery
• Cataract Surgery
• Ocular emergencies 
• Slit lamp examination
• Binocular indirect fundoscopy
• Manifest & Cyclo-refraction

Training will be provided in the us of the following diagnostic equipment 

• Ultra-wide Fundus Photography
• Anterior and Posterior Optical Coherence Tomography 
• OCT Angiography
• Specular microscopy
• Biometry/ IOL Calculations
• Ultrasonography
• Automated Perimetry
• Corneal Topography & Tomography

Work Hours/ Benefits

• Alternate 5 day week (Alternate weekends off)
• Weekday 8.30am to 5.30pm
• Annual Leave 18-25 days
