As we expand our reach in Asia, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Country Manager to lead our growth and operational strategy in Singapore.

Position Overview

The Country Manager will establish Autopay's presence in Singapore, lead market expansion efforts, drive business development, and ensure operational excellence. This role is ideal for a leader with experience in payments or fintech, a strong network in the local market, and a passion for building teams and scaling businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion: Develop and execute strategies to launch Autopay's services in Singapore, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive market share.
  • Business Development: Build relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and regulatory bodies, to enhance brand presence and market penetration.
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee all operational aspects, ensuring compliance with Singapore’s regulations, managing risk, and setting up local teams to support growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with global teams to align local goals with the overall company strategy, and adapt global offerings to fit local market needs.
  • Financial Oversight: Drive revenue growth, manage budgets, and ensure effective allocation of resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar leadership role, with proven expertise in payment services, fintech, or financial services.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Singaporean market and regulatory landscape for payment services.
  • Strong network and relationships within the financial services and payments industry in Singapore.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on results and growth.
  • Singapore residence permit
