Lasik Technician

• Industry: Healthcare 
Gross Salary: Up to $3400 
• Working days & hours:  5.5 days’ work week 
Monday – Friday: 8.30pm – 5pm; Saturday: 8.30am – 1pm 
• Location: Somerset (5 minutes’ walk from MRT)

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate LASIK machines and perform tests on ophthalmic equipment (e.g., lasers, topography).
• Ensure the operating theatre and equipment are ready and functioning for surgeries.
• Prepare LASIK case notes a day before surgery.
• Schedule and maintain equipment, including dehumidifiers and laser machines.
• Handle front desk tasks like patient registration, payments, scheduling, and inquiries.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager or Doctor.

Job Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Optometry, Biomedical engineering, or a related field 
• Prior experience in operating ophthalmic equipment or working in a clinical setting is an advantage. (Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply too)
• Basic understanding of LASIK procedures and ophthalmic equipment is preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members effectively.
