Senior HR/ HR Manager (Clementi / 1 year convertible / $6500) - #1089196

Responsibilities:

• Develop understanding of business/ function needs and objectives, analyse trends and metrics so as to provide effective HR solutions to the stakeholders. 
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives. 
• Lead the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees. 
• Perform all the necessary processes for the successful application of work passes for foreign candidates.
• Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies. 
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in collaboration with the finance department. 
• Manage employee performance appraisal and feedback processes to ensure fair and consistent evaluations.
• Maintain employee records and HR systems to ensure data integrity and confidentiality. 
• Review, formulate and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. 
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. 
• Work closely with the Management and the employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention. 
• Proactively identify gaps in the existing processes, propose and drive changes necessary to establish good HR practices.
• Ensure the company compensation and benefits are within the industry norm. 
• Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes and policies. 
• Assist the Management in any ad-hoc admin/HR duties.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 
• Proven experience as a HR Manager or similar role, with at least 10 years of HR experience with a minimum of 5 years in a HR leadership position. 
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with employees at all levels. 
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach. 
• In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations. 
• Proficient in Workday, EasyPay Enterprise (EPE) and Microsoft 365 software suite. 
• High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. 
• Strong experience in dealing with employee matters, labour laws and work relations in Singapore. 
• Results-driven and able to meet deadlines.
