Position Title

Country Manager Singapore & Philippines

Reports To

Regional Manager, ASEAN

Key Accountability

  • To promote MH as a preferred airline for 5th / 6th freedom travel beyond Indonesia region and increase market share for core routes and premium first and business class traffic.
  • Responsible for all commercial activities within Singapore & Philippines region
  • Working together with management to develop corporate sales plans and strategies in order to generate new revenue streams for station.
  • Monitor performance of stations / agents / corporate clients / analyse and take action in order to achieve POS target.
  • Responsible for the compilation and on-time submission of yearly budget for the station /region.
  • Achieve targeted business objectives congruent with the Sales & Marketing plan especially the monthly and yearly revenue target for the whole of Singapore & Philippines region.
  • Update and be involved in developing competitive products and services in the market.
  • Formulate and execute business plans and strategies and ensure improve Company’s performance by achieving station revenue target with profitability and revenue target with allocated budget for operational usage.
  • Understand and familiarize every aspect and activity of the business to provide direction and effective decision making at all levels of planning and operations for Stations.
  • Ensure adherence and compliance to all statutory and legal requirement for the operation of business for MAB
  • Assists Regional Manager monitor the stations performance.

Qualification & Experience

  • Degree in related discipline with minimum 5-6 years working experience or Diploma in related discipline with minimum 5 years working experience
  • Special / Professional Certificate : Airlines Business certification
  • Years of Experience : 5-6 years in Aviation Sales & marketing.
  • Add on in Travel and/or Airlines Industry

Areas of Experience

  • Able to work independently, dynamic and resourceful.
  • Detail-oriented, with good organizational skills i.e. Time Management, Task Management.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS office 0365.
  • Excellent communication/analytical/negotiation skills.

Personality Traits

  • Must have the ability to communicate well both orally and in writing English and local language.
  • Have a good PR skill with agents and commercial houses & Indonesia regions under his /her preview.
  • Strong analytical skills, business acumen and problem solving
