[What the role is]

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) is looking for an experienced and proactive team member to join CDEP (Corporate Service and Emergency Preparedness Division).

The CDEP Division aims to be the aviation sector's leading authority in emergency preparedness, adeptly managing both peacetime crises and national emergencies. As corporate secretariat, CDEP also strives to provide excellent support to the Authority and CAAS management. We are committed to delivering seamless support in corporate services, while engaging a proactive approach in building a dynamic and sustainable workplace.

As part of the CDEP team, this role will play a key member of the workplace excellence section of the CDEP Division. You will assume a pivotal role in creating a safe, conducive and sustainable workplace, spearheading corporate development and governance for CAAS, while enhancing the employee experience by leveraging upon technology, and administrative best practices.

[What you will be working on]

You will be deeply involved in the following in corporate development and governance areas for CDEP Division and CAAS:

  • Leading ESG development, implementation, and monitoring of CAAS ESG strategy/projects/data with relevant CAAS Divisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations; and engagement to develop and promulgate the annual Sustainability Report for CAAS.
  • Planning and implementation of Corporate Sustainability Framework, CAAS Resource Management Plan for CAAS, including formulating guidelines aligned with GreenGovSG requirements.
  • Formulating relevant Public Sector/ Governance framework & guidelines for CAAS staff on Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and programmes pertaining to Corporate environmental sustainability for CAAS
  • Strategizing, developing and implementation of accreditation plan for CAAS Workplace (e.g. Green Mark) including conducting audit/evidence gathering on workplace and sustainability report requirements.
  • Championing stakeholder and staff engagement efforts for new corporate development initiatives/projects to allow better workplace experiences and best practise corporate services etc in, creating an inclusive environment that foster growth, engagement and well-being for CAAS staff.


[What we are looking for]

  • Relevant experience in planning and executing communication plan, stakeholders, gathering users’ feedback for change management in an organisation wide projects.
  • Prior experience in ESG reporting and promulgation of the organisation sustainability report.
  • Strong staff writing skills
  • Good understanding of GreenGov requirements.
  • Experience in leveraging on technology and sustainability as part of process re-engineering and managing change agenda will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment and critical situation
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to multi-task and willing to learn and work under operational and stressful situations
  • Open-minded with a positive attitude.


Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
