Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES FOR PROJECT ACTIVITIES:

• Input the required design data into electrical index as per the defined structure and format.
• Prepare lighting and small power layout drawings
• Carry-out cable tray routing drawings
• 3D Modelling for cable trays (E-Raceway), and panels, other electrical equipment’s such as Panel, Distribution board, Transformer, Bus duct, Street lighting, Junction box, socket outlets, Isolator, RCU’s etc…. using Equipment model.
• Review 3D model regularly, discuss with lead electrical designer if there is some issues such clash with other facilities etc…
• Prepare electrical typical installation detail drawings
• Prepare electrical MTO’s
• Prepare earthing layout drawings
• Prepare lightning protection system layout drawings
• Site checking and verification
• To be part of field engineering team as per project requirement.
• At all times comply with AFW drawing/document requirement i.e following cad procedure, check list etc… as defined in Electrical technical practice.
  
  

Responsibilities For Non-project Related Work

• Assist when required in preparation of proposals and in presentations to prospective clients.
• Carry out technical investigations, produce technical reports as and when required.
• Conduct training session for other staff on 3D & 2D tools
• Update sample drawing/document based on lesson learned from the projects.
  
  

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 2-10 years of experience in Refinery / Petrochemical/Chemical/Power/Pharmaceutical Plant Projects
• Knowledge of electrical design/drafting,Local, International codes & standards and electrical 3D modelling. Is a must.
• Working experience on electrical design/drafting tools, Such as 3D modelling i.e. PDS, PDMS, Smart Plant 3D& 2D software i.e. MicroStation, AutoCAD and smart plant review is a must.
• Conversant with Local, International codes and standards for electrical design.
• Working experience on Smart plant electrical is an added advantage.
• Self-motivated, self-reliant, energizetic, taking proactive measure etc. are desired.
