About The Role

We are seeking someone to manage advertorials and oversee junior writers. You will be involved in campaign management where you will oversee client work and ensure articles are delivered on time and with quality. In this role, you will also be involved in writing articles. The successful candidate should have 3 years of experience in writing and 2 years of experience in sub-editing.

What You Will Do

• 70% Campaign Management - This is your primary role and includes liaising with the project management team and clients to produce advertorials on TheSmartLocal. You'll also be in charge of delegating work to junior writers in the team and editing their submitted work. You are to ensure that all content by your interns meets the expected standard and their writing is free from any mistakes.
• 30% Writing - All full-timers are required to produce a minimum of 1 organic article and 2 Mini Features in a month. Do note that this is the bare minimum and your duty will be to actively pitch ideas and produce articles to help the editorial team achieve their monthly targets.
  
  

The Successful Candidate Should Have

• At least 3 years of experience in writing and 2 years of sub-editing
• A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in managing a team of writers
• Strong command of the English language
• Being meticulous and versatile
• Able to multi-task
• Knowledge in SEO is a bonus
