Job Responsibilities :
POS System Management: Support the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of POS terminals to ensure seamless store operations.
Network Support: Help monitor and maintain the company’s network, addressing connectivity issues and assisting with troubleshooting as needed.
Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support to employees, addressing hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly.
Inventory Management: Track and manage IT equipment inventory, including ordering supplies and ensuring devices are in good working order.
System Updates and Backups: Assist with updates for software, systems, and POS devices, as well as perform regular data backups.
Documentation: Maintain documentation for IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and POS setup to streamline future support.
Vendor Coordination: Help coordinate with vendors for equipment repairs, maintenance, and software updates when needed.
Security Compliance: Assist with enforcing IT security policies and procedures to ensure data protection and compliance with company standards.
User Training: Provide basic training to employees on IT systems, especially the POS system, to help them troubleshoot minor issues independently.
Assist IT Executive: Work closely with the IT Executive to support all IT operations, including special projects or upgrades related to the POS system and network.
Job Requirements :
- Basic understanding of network configurations, computer hardware, and software installation.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to different support needs.
- Open to work flexible hours as needed, with a readiness to assist in urgent issues
