Responsibilities:
- Project manage to ensure efficiency in site survey and implementing of SPTEL’s outside plant and fibre infra such that contractor can timely complete projects.
- Ensure all applications and documents were correctly submitted as requested by building owners before approval is granted for work commencement.
- Manage conflict resolution with regards to payment, access and installation.
- Oversee and manage the end to end in building deployment to ensure that the service delivery is completed within the stipulated service levels.
- To always support in service recovery in relation to Major infra incident.
- Provide standby support, after office hours, in trouble ticket issued by NOC and post diversion activities.
- Review and update As-Built drawings upon project completion.
- Assist in any other duties as assigned from time to time, where applicable.
Role Requirements:
- Diploma in telecommunication, computer engineering or IT related field.
- At least 3 years of working experience in passive infrastructure operations (inside or outside plant operations).
- Strong technical knowledge of diversion work and dark fibre implementation.
- Familiar with site acquisition and deployment of in-building telco’s facilities and assets
- Equipped with good fibre troubleshooting skillset using power meter and OTDR.
- Able to negotiate and work with difficult clients and strong project management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with contractors, colleagues and building management team / developers.
- Independent, self-driven, highly customer focused and able to work under high-pressure environment especially during emergency restoration of telecommunications services
- Good communication skills, keen to learn and a team player
