About the role

We are seeking an experienced Airfreight Operation Officer to join our team at KGL SINGAPORE PTE LTD. This is a full-time position based in the Changi East Region. As an Airfreight Operation Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of air cargo shipments for our clients.

What you'll be doing

Coordinate and manage the airfreight forwarding process, including booking space, preparing documentation, and liaising with airlines and customs authorities

Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate with clients regarding updates and any issues that may arise

Ensure all shipments are handled in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies

Provide excellent customer service and support to both internal and external stakeholders

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to air cargo movements

Assist with the resolution of any claims or discrepancies that may occur

Collaborate with the broader logistics team to optimise processes and drive continuous improvement

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in air freight forwarding or a related logistics role

Strong knowledge of air cargo transportation processes, documentation, and regulations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and partners

Proficient in using logistics management software and IT systems

Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance

A team player with the ability to collaborate across different functions
