Responsibilities:
- Arrange for mechanics to perform servicing and repairs on-site as needed.
- Coordinate and oversee the servicing and maintenance of excavators and other equipment at the workshop.
- Liaise with external vendors for specialized servicing and repair needs.
- Follow up on quotations with external vendors to ensure timely approvals and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor the progress of both in-house and external servicing or repairs, providing regular updates to drivers, mechanics, and management.
- Ensure proper documentation of maintenance logs and repair history for each vehicle in the fleet.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle or machinery maintenance.
- Proficiency in workshop tools and equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- 5.5 days work week
