As an Assistant/Deputy Director in e2i, you will play an important role in leading your team to impact Singapore's employment and employability of jobseekers. You will strategise outreach initiatives and collaborations with community partners and build bridges to new stakeholders to promote e2i's career services to individuals and partners such as Unions, Government, and trade associations. You will also work closely with other business units within e2i and NTUC.
Job Responsibilities
You will lead and oversee the team in the planning and strategising of plans to enhance the employment and employability of workers through the following:
- Strategise and recommend outreach initiatives to promote e2i’s services to community partners and stakeholders.
- Work with both internal and external partners to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the team's outreach events and activities, such as job fairs and community events.
- Ensure that policy and system changes are disseminated to the team in a timely matter.
- Ensure accurate regular reporting to stakeholders and prepare regular updates to management.
- Ensure that the monitoring, tracking and the progress of outreach efforts are in place.
- Lead, build and maintain relationships with new and existing stakeholders (e.g., government, private partners, community leaders).
- Work with government agencies and/or community partners, liaise and manage appointed service providers to deliver the necessary employment facilitation services outcomes at events or for campaigns (e.g., job fairs, co-organised marketing campaigns, etc).
- Manage the deployment of team members required for outreach engagement and monitor their performance.
- Manage the financial and expenses of the team.
- Oversee staff professional development and monitor staff workload and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Job Requirements
- Possess management and supervisory experience. Experience in developing strategies would be advantageous.
- A strong leader with good relationship management.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to network and work across boundaries to foster greater partnerships and collaboration.
- Able to negotiate well with various stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be highly self-motivated and resilient.
- Good analytical skills, with the ability to write/edit reports.
- Meticulous, with good time management and organisational skills.
Working Location: Jurong East, Devan Nair Institute
Designation and salary will commensurate with experience.
