Part-Time Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper - #1087395

Bookkeeping and Financial Management:

• Maintain and update accounting records using WAVE accounting software.
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including sales, expenses, and inventory.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely invoicing and payments.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash flow reporting.
• Reconcile and monitor petty cash and expense claims.
• Prepare monthly financial summaries for management review.

Inventory and E-Commerce Operations:

• Generate price tags for new items and arrange selected items for courier delivery for online orders.
• Maintain and monitor inventory to ensure accuracy and availability.
• Assist in generating bills and sales reports in Shopify.

Administrative and Support Tasks:

• Order office consumables and maintain office supply inventory.
• Answer social media inquiries three days a week, providing prompt and professional responses.
• Provide support for additional bookkeeping or administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

• Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Wave).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
• Familiarity with Singapore’s financial regulations, including GST, is a plus.
• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Working Hours

• Part-time: 5 hours per day.
• Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
