We are seeking a highly motivated, demonstrated strategic and technical product leader with strong background in technology as well as traditional product management skill to bridge the gap between engineering and business teams.

In this role, you will be responsible for success of enterprise product portfolio, from concept to release and product life cycle management. You will play a vital role in in leading strategic product direction and driving business growth, including overseeing product portfolio strategy/architecture, end-to-end product execution, managing multidisciplinary teams, processes and delivery of tasks. Spectrum of tasks ranges from product innovations to optimize the efficiency of existing products.

Responsibilities

Create product vision, oversee strategy and end-to-end product execution

• Think long term, capture buyer of buyer tomorrow and move company to forefront of the industry.
• Evangelize products and outline clear vision for portfolio of products road map, with detailed description of how to follow that plan and keep track of product metrics in entire product lifecycle.
• Ensure products has meaningful impact on customers and create functioning revenue-generation model for the product line
• Design technical framework / product architecture for building the range of product line.
• Responsible for product teams, processes and delivery of tasks.
• Oversee all product related matters, manage range from product management to user experience (UX) research and design to product analytics.
• Supervise product management leaders, ensure key roles are being performed efficiently and are aligned with business vision and strategy.
• Manage operating expenses and team velocity and maturity of a agile processes to support resource and capacity planning
• Track KPIs aligned to business cases and annual plan
• Involves in manufacturing and procurement to ensure end product delivered with quality excellence and cost efficient manner
• Support new product launch initiatives ( pilot, POC ) in conjunction with sales and pre-sales team
• Cultivate new ideas/technical infrastructure thinking, product excellence mindset, foster innovation, provides both customer-focused framework for product development and subject matter expertise across settings.

Build Innovative and human-centric product portfolio

• Responsible to set the tone and lay foundation for strong product innovation strategy
• Create an environment that foster innovation and host brainstorming session that encourage out-of-box thinking to generate new ideas to expand product portfolio that create value for customers and stakeholder
• Drive innovation, process of creating new product and lead cross-functional teams to ideate, prototype and commercialise innovative offering to gain a competitive advantage in the market
• Provides recommendations and influences strategic decision making with ability to utilize data and insights to support decisions.
• Work with clients and interdisciplinary teams of product, design and engineering in the development of new use cases/PoCs, applying digital-first mindset and contemporary product management techniques like human centered design, minimum viable product rapid prototying.
• Articulate business challenge at the beginning of the project to ensure potential user and business impacts are relevant and defined early desirability, viability and feasibility of recommendations
• In partnership with design and technology determine the gaps to explore, test, refine and recommend a final solution

Improve existing products for better results

• Set overarching product team expectations, hire/train product managers as well as ensure product team have the necessary resources to launch new products and improve features of existing ones.
• Build product/project management practices around agile and scrum methodologies
• Guide activities of product managers who design product roadmaps, requirements and necessary courses of action for product development
• Review and track team-wide development goals
• Drive and modify key performance indicators (KPI)  and objectives and key results (OKR)
• Oversee end to end execution of the technical product map for different product lines, including overall prioritization of product enhancements requested by internal and external stakeholders in alignment with company objectives. Roadmap focus on view with 18-month future state.
• Drive the maintenance, growth and retirement of existing products
• Establish technical competencies and technology needed to ensure product development and management function is optimised for productivity, quality and future-proof.

Requirements

• More than 8 years in the field of software/product development/management with a proven business focus in growing products and services
• More than 5 years supervising product management staff
• Product management certification in accordance with Open Product Management Workflow is an advantage
• Demonstrate ability to

1. foster product innovation and deliver innovative solution / services to at least 3 industries
2. be client-facing, specifically to design, facilitate and execute on complex client engagements and pilot sprints
3. perform in-depth analysis to inform strategic product decisions and keep the product competitive in the market
4. create clear, actionable roadmaps that align with company strategic goals and customer needs
5. assemble right size scrum teams and drive cross-functional collaboration
6. develop and manage product lifecycles to meet ROI and profitability expectations
7. define KPIs to measure product performance, forecast timelines and adjust strategies as needed based on data-driven insights

• Have experience in

1. product design/development with strong track record in innovative new product development and scaling pilots to commercialization
2. start-up and/or role that manage product P&L and grow profit margins
3. managing internal and external stakeholders to set expectations, provide updates and drive alignment across departments

• Possess

1. expertise in innovation and product development methodologies from applied human-centered design (HCD) to service design and agile (SAFe) scrum
2. expertise in gathering and analyzing data to understand market needs and opportunities
3. sound knowledge and understanding of business and technology
4. growth mindset that embraces creativity, optimism, ambiguity and failing fast
5. good communication skill to articulate product business plans and priorities clearly and concisely with business and technical stakeholders
6. strong analytical, strategic and co-ordinating skills

• Customer centric leader and entreprenuer with business acumen and good problem solver
• Comfortable interacting, interviewing and iterating with people through exploration of new concept, prototyping and testing
• Role requires approximately 30% travel to customers, roadshows, press events and analysts
