Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely product deliveries to clients.
• Lead and inspire the warehouse team to maintain high standards of productivity and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all warehouse activities.
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations with precision and efficiency.
• Plan and coordinate local and export deliveries to ensure on-time, organized dispatches.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization and streamline storage and picking processes.
• Maintain adequate staffing levels through effective recruitment, training, and development of warehouse personnel.
• Assign and monitor workloads to ensure the team operates at peak efficiency.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through proactive training and constructive feedback.
• Ensure warehouse practices align with safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Lead the Risk Management team (bizSAFE) to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks.
• Implement safety initiatives to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly.
• Report to management on client feedback, operational progress, and challenges or opportunities for improvement.
• Manage operational costs efficiently, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive productivity and cost-efficiency improvements.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management to support overall warehouse operations and company goals.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Warehouse Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in warehouse operations with proven management and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership capabilities to motivate and guide teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong problem-solving skills to develop and implement effective operational solutions.
• Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to interact across all management levels.
• Possession of own transport is an added advantage.
