Optometrist / Optometrist Assistant - #1087007

RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilitates with the eye care services offered at the practice

• Provide primary eye care services to consumers including: refraction, slit-lamp biomicroscopy, intraocular pressure measurement, retinal imaging, OCT, conduct binocular vision assessment, prescribe glasses and contact lenses etc.;
• Myopia Control services, include measurement of axial length;
• Prescribe Orthokeratology Lenses (training will be provided);
• Conduct Vision Therapy (training will be provided);
• To interpret prescriptions;
• To edge lenses as prescribed;
• To dispense and adjust the frames of spectacles;
• Handle daily shop operations, retail sales, inventory controls (e.g. admin work, cleaning and arranging stocks and spectacle frames, answering phone etc.)
• Builds relationships and communicate effectively with customers and fellow team members
• Any other duties as assigned by Superior.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate applying for the role of an Optometrist, he/she must be registered as an Optometrist with the Optometrists & Opticians Board, Ministry of Health Singapore.
• Required language(s): Fluent in English and Chinese will be an advnatage in order to handle diverse group of consumers
