GrabRentals (GR) is responsible for securing vehicular supply for the Grab platform. We strive to be a partner that creates income opportunities for our driver-partners by sustainably providing them access to quality assets for use in Grab's marketplaces.
Get to Know the Role
Reporting to Head of Fleet, you will be a key contributor to the Fleet Team, assisting in the planning and execution of strategic studies for GrabRentals Singapore. Your responsibilities will include aiding in the planning process, conducting research, and performing data analysis related to fleet lifecycle. You will also be involved in structuring tasks and assisting in identifying issues and formulating solutions, and presenting them to Grab leadership. Furthermore, you will provide advice on the feasibility of implementation and offer support in execution and project management.
This role will be onsite and based in the One North office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Data Analysis: Use data to identify patterns, irregularities, and their root causes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and improve processes through automation.
- Trend Identification: Analyse large datasets related to maintenance and accidents to spot trends.
- Predictive Modelling: Develop and refine models to forecast potential maintenance and accident issues/ fault analysis etc.
- Ongoing Monitoring: Continuously adjust models based on new data and results.
- Reporting and Recommendations: Present findings and make data-driven recommendations to stakeholders and leaders.
- Operational Support: Assist in developing strategies, ensure compliance, and handle administrative tasks.
- Support the manager in reviewing policy thinking and strategy.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Degree holder (preferably in Operational Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or Economics Management)
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in Automotive industry, or in an Analytical or data-centric role
- Proficiency in SQL
- Strong problem solving skills, able to think and debate strategically
- Strong data visualisation skills. Experience in creating dashboard reporting in Tableau, Power BI or a similar visualisation tool
- Strong statistical knowledge, detail oriented towards data, and proficient in running experiments
- Ability to work in diverse environments and deal effectively with complex, changing and ambiguous landscapes and adhere to the highest ethical standards.
