Car Mechanic - #1086825

We are seeking a skilled Mechanics for our workshop specializing in Jap , Korean and Continental makes.  You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
Inspect and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
Follow standard procedures for vehicle inspections and repairs.
Record diagnostics, repairs, and parts used accurately.
Participate in risk assessments for new equipment and vehicles. 
Responsible for advising the relevant manager of any factors directly affecting the daily schedule of programmed work. 
To inform the manager of any compromises of company maintenance procedures, or health and safety standards.
Technical investigations into failed components or vehicle breakdowns. 
Investigate and report on all vehicle major unit failures. 
Establish reasons, trends and make recommendations for improvements to preventative maintenance procedures.
Carry out physical repairs to vehicles, if necessary.
Conduct road tests to confirm repairs.

To perform all jobs as stated in RO, make clear note on causes, service done, and any remark of additional information for customer and SA/SE on RO
To ensure all critical parts are inspected according to vehicle's mileage
To schedule preventive maintenance service, troubleshooting, minor an major repair work and major overhauling job etc.
To recommend additional wear and tear parts and submit quotation to Front Line to seek approval before proceeding with the job
To enter Battery Inspection Data into RO for record purpose
To ensure seat cover, floor paper, fender cover is on vehicle prior to starting work
To housekeep own workstation and ensure it is clean and tidy
To ensure all tools and equipment are kept clean constantly
To complete all repair jobs ETD as stated on job card
To be familiar with technical information and service data
To communicate with SA/SE for further action and customer follow up
To be familiar with the function of 4 wheel alignment, floor machine A/C full cycle machine, rotate and balancing machine, brake tester, emission analyst machine, DSTI diagnostic tool before carrying out repair
 

Requirements
At least 2 years of relevant working experience
Good team player with good social and communication skills. 
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work independently and with a good working attitude.
Knowledge of car systems and diagnostic tools.
Possess a valid Class 3 driving license
Familiar with modern repair techniques and the use of electronic and mechanical diagnostic equipment.
Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Relevant certifications in automotive technology or diagnostics are a plus
