Events and Exhibitions Operations Manager - #1086666

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and support the seamless execution of events. The Operations Manager will work closely with the production team to ensure all operations and logistical requirements are met according to the event and exhibition plans.  

You will play a crucial role in contractor and vendor liaisons, managing documentation, coordinating with regulatory authorities, sourcing vendors, and creating production schedules to ensure the successful execution of each project.

SCOPE OF WORK

• Event Logistics Planning: Manage and oversee all logistical elements of events and exhibitions, including the preparation of documents required for government licenses and approvals.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, vendors/contractors, and clients to ensure seamless event operations and timely execution. Work closely with PE, LEW, and other professionals during endorsement processes.
• Vendor Management: Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials, samples, and services at competitive rates. Collect all necessary forms and documents for submission to relevant authorities.
• Production Scheduling: Develop detailed production timelines, including setup and dismantling schedules, to ensure smooth execution of events.
• On-Site Support: Assist in venue setup and teardown during pre- and post-event periods. Provide hands-on support during the event to manage on-site operations effectively.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all required permits, licenses, and documentation are completed and submitted to meet regulatory requirements.

CRITERIA

• Between 4 - 5 years’ experience in operations and production management for premium lifestyle events & exhibitions
• Relevant experience and knowledge of operations and logistics requriements for events and exhibitions
• Effective negotiation skills for costs with external vendors and contractors
• Able to produce detailed timeline and production schedules
• Must be able to handle multiple projects concurrently
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin
• Ability to multi-task  
• Responsible, resourceful and meticulous in a fast-paced environment, &
• Possess a resilient attitude and in good health.
